Terms of Service
Placeholder terms for development. This page will be replaced with full, legally reviewed Terms of Service before public launch.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to create a Crappie Fanatics account. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement and agree to these terms.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of the fishing reports, waypoints, and other content you submit. By publishing a report, you grant Crappie Fanatics a license to display it according to the visibility level you select. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you report. Any photo you upload to the site also grants Crappie Fanatics a license to use it for the site's own branding and marketing purposes.
Moderation
Reports and comments may be reviewed, edited, hidden, or removed by moderators and admins to keep the network accurate and useful, per our community standards.
Membership & billing
Paid memberships renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
Fishing regulations
Crappie Fanatics does not verify or guarantee current fishing regulations, water levels, or access conditions unless explicitly entered by an authorized admin. And even then, regulating agencies can change bag limits, size limits, and seasons without notice, so admin-entered regulation data can go stale between updates. You are responsible for complying with all applicable state and federal fishing regulations, and should always confirm current rules directly with the managing agency before you fish.
Fish measurement tool
The photo-based fish measurement tool provides an estimated length only, calculated from a photo and reference object you provide and calibrate on-screen yourself. Crappie Fanatics makes no warranty as to its accuracy. Results depend entirely on how the photo is taken and how precisely you place the reference and fish points, and is not responsible for citations, fines, confiscated catch, or any other consequence of relying on this tool. You are solely responsible for verifying your catch complies with applicable regulations using an accurate physical measurement.
Contact & operator
Crappie Fanatics is owned and operated by Pathfinder Business Systems (pathfindersystems.org). For support or questions about these terms, contact support@pathfindersystems.org.
