Location privacy
Your private waypoints and fishing logs are visible only to you. Fishing report locations follow the visibility level you choose at submission — private, general area only, member-visible exact, or public generalized — and this rule is enforced in our database and API layer, not only in the interface. We never return private or member-only coordinates from a public page, public API response, search result, or report summary.
Data we collect
Account information (email, display name, hashed password), profile preferences (home water, fishing methods, boat status), fishing reports and their attached location data, private waypoints and logbook entries, and standard usage data needed to operate the service and process membership billing.
Data export and deletion
You can export your personal waypoints and fishing-log records as JSON from your dashboard settings. You may also request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
Third parties
We use Stripe to process membership payments and never store full payment card details ourselves. We do not sell personal data or exact fishing locations to third parties.
